New HOMEL gas burner is an eco-friendly metallic (no-castable) burner which was designed to improve fuel consumption and easy operation compared to the conventional HOMEL gas burner.
1. Tile parts, which are to the flame holding parts, are made with heat-resistant double pipes, and combustion air pass through the gap of the double pipe. This structure makes it possible to obtain around 200Ž of preheat air, so that the fuel consumption is improved.
2. The gas spouted out from a special gas nozzle is mixed with the preheated air, and it burns with a stable orange flame. The length of the flame is reduced by around 20% compared to the former HOMEL burner. Because excessive air combustion is reduced and the combustion happens at the theory air ratio, New HOMEL burner realizes ideal orange frame combustion.
3. Holding fuel consumption decreases by about 15% compared to the conventional model.
4. Molten metal heat-up time is shorten by about 30% compared to the conventional model.
5. Despite using of the preheated air, the burner is the low NOx emission burner emitting less than 150ppm of NOx with an actual measurement..
6. The combustion sound of new burner is low as between 70 and 75dB, and this is the same noise level as the former model.
7. The attaching or removing work to a furnace body became easier than the castable tile burner. In the former model, heat-resistant parts around burner were often severely damaged due to the excessive heating. In the new model, this trouble is greatly improved.
Burner HMB burns fuel gas which spouted out of the burner central part by mixing the gas with the primary and second combustion air around the burner.
1. The red flame contains plenty of infrared light, and the heat absorption of the aluminum is high.
2. The structure is simple and therefore, maintenance and checks of its nozzle and other parts can be performed easily.
3. Both gas and air are available even under the low supply pressure.
4. The combustion sound of this burner is as low as between 70 and 75dB.
5. Flame temperature is as low as 1100Ž at highest, and the burner is of the low temperature flame that reduced partly heating.
*The low temperature flame generates extremely little amount of hard ƒ¿ alumina, and this contributes to the reduction of the oxide in the furnace and makes it possible to lower the inferior rate.
